Cookies
No cookies are set
FileSlimmer sets no cookies — not for analytics, not for advertising, not for preferences, not for sessions. There is no session to keep: the site is static and there is no account. You will not see a cookie banner here, because there is nothing to ask you about.
Browser storage that is used
| Where | Key | What it holds | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
localStorage | fs-theme | Your choice of the light or dark theme. | Until you clear site data. |
localStorage | fs-locale | The language you last chose from the root page. | Until you clear site data. |
| Cache Storage | FileSlimmer application caches | HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WebAssembly modules and AI models — the site's own files. | Until you clear site data or the browser evicts them. |
Neither key holds anything about you or about your files. The service-worker cache stores application assets only; your files and the outputs generated from them are never written to it.
How to remove it
Clearing site data for this domain in your browser removes both keys and the whole cache. The tools keep working afterwards — they will simply forget your theme and language, and the engine files will be fetched again the first time you use a tool.
If advertising is enabled later
Advertising and analytics are switched off at launch, so no third-party script is loaded and no identifier is stored. If that changes, the storage it requires will be listed on this page and, where consent is required, it will be asked for before anything is set. See privacy choices for the controls that exist today.
